I want to thank you for putting on such a
wonderful event. The race course was truly epic and very well designed while
the event itself was very well managed. The volunteers at registration, the
aid stations, the finish line and the post-race BBQ were fantastic. They
always had a smile and a willing hand to help in any way they possibly could.
Having raced all over the country I can say that I have never been treated so
well!
I had a good time chatting with the finish line
folks who were mostly comprised of ultra-distance runners. They understood
that it was important to load up on as much food as possible and were doing
their part to make sure we were fed. Certainly made for a safer final descent
as well:-).
I hope you continue to put on this event in the
years to come. I'm not sure you realize how good a job you actually do. The
legend of this event will only grow and will surely become a "must do" on any
climbers yearly plan. Could even become the "National Climbing Championships"
if we can get the word out!
Anyway, thanks again and I'll see you again next
year where I'll try to defend my jersey and come in first place at the same
time!
Best regards,

"Thank you for putting on such a great event!!! The volunteers were the
greatest.
My special thanks goes out to the staff ant the finish line both days.
After the first day I don't think I would have made it back down the mountain
without them making sure I ate - The "real" food was just what I needed."
- one of the Tourists who finished ALL the climbs!
"Many thanks and kudos for putting on
your amazing race! The courses were out of this world. Really there is
nothing that comes close to this. I worked for the Tour de France TV coverage
one summer and I saw those climbs first hand. Talk about hors categorie! I
don't think they were as long or hard as that last climb on day 2. We really
appreciated everything about the races." - cat 3 racer.
